Basic Job Function :
This position exists to conductresearch and development tasks in the modeling / scoring functional area. Theincumbent will be technically proficient in multiple modeling / scoringmethodologies and will complete projects according to specified requirements.
Theincumbent will balance day-to-day production assignments, research assignmentsand will contribute to the advancement of the group.
Review and provide critical guidance for the development,coding, and implementation of all analysis and models.
Develop and institute guidelines, standards, and bestpractices to be implemented by all modelers.
Research and design advanced scores, attributes, productsand indexes through exploration of across a wide range of data sources
Ensures appropriate documentation, testing, and analysis hasbeen completed and communicated to Product, and operational Teams to support goto market activities.
Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in computerscience, mathematics, statistics or quantitative methods
Thorough understanding of various statistical methodologiesincluding linear regression, logistic regression, neural networks, andCHAID / CART.
Experience processing large data sets, matching / mergingmultiple data sets
Excellent analytical and project management skills.
Advance user of SAS,R or equivalent analytic software.
Advance user of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Excellent analytical skills are essential.
Individual must possess excellent written and oralcommunication skills.
Strong organizational and forecasting skills.
Be a team player.
