In this role, the Latam Training Operations Manager will work with the Latam and Americas team to continuously evolve forecasting models, analyze historic results, and make business recommendations to senior management based on those analyses all in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity.
This will include working with the team to develop, implement and manage the business processes, systems, reports and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.
This position also manages the administration and execution of the team’s goals, including segmentation of business goals and measurement of goal attainment.

Manage a team of Program Managers and Training Coordinators who are responsible for the day to day execution of AWS Training business.
Collaborate on the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of forecasting models, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions within the Americas Training & Certification business unit.
Work with Latam and Americas management to determine business goals and develop methodologies to measure goals.
Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring of efficient and effective processes, including ensuring the team follows quality processes.
Play a significant role in the long-term planning process, including geographical expansion and hiring initiatives.
Work closely with finance on the budget planning and financial reporting processes. Forecast, track and report on expenses.
Manage all vendor agreements leveraged by the Latam Training & Certification team, including but not limited to negotiations, contract executions, fulfillment of contractual obligations.
This position can be in São Paulo, Brazil.
10+ years' professional experience in operations with technology companies.
Operations experience within a Training or Professional Services organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience with the development and implementation of systems and tools utilized for CRM, ERP, revenue reporting, and forecasting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, Tableau, rational databases and data query tools.
Business-process design experience.
5+ years people management experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
Fluent in Portuguese and English speaking and writing skills;
Strong Spanish speaking and writing skills
Experience working within a high-growth technology company, preferably cloud-based products and services.
Exhibits sound business judgment, ability to influence others, and strong analytical skills.
Experience operating in a lean, fast-paced organization.
Proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.
Experience defining and executing a vision and quickly scaling an organization.
MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
