What you’ll achieve
The lead architect of our Dell Digital (IT) Data Governance team will be responsible for ensuring that Dell’s core capabilities of Information Governance Data Cataloging, Data Classification, Data Lineage and Data Quality are enabled in a scalable way with right integration points between the software and data ecosystems supporting each.
This role will be specifically accountable for guiding the product and engineering teams in the Data Governance organization through SW selection, implementation design, SW engineering and system integrations.
The lead architect will also be responsible for supporting sizing new initiatives, managing interlocks and ensuring the latest industry trends are considering in our backlog and future capabilities including influencing team members, leadership and stakeholder to bring a focus on the right priorities.
Our technical teams will lean on this role for guidance solving more complex or new challenges.

8-10 years of experience across some or all of the following areas : SW engineering leadership, Solution Architecture, packaged software implementation and cross-system integrations.
Prior experience working as a lead Solution or Enterprise architect on complex IT implementations
Ability to collaborate well with team members from different geographies, cultures and levels of seniority.
Strong communication skills and experience and comfort presenting to executive audiences
Prior experience related to data classification, lineage, quality and cataloging
Comfortable collaborating with business stakeholders to understand current processes and gaps, and connecting those with technology solutions that can help to address them.
Ability to turn ideas and requirements into effort sizing and required skills
Experience working with the following technologies : Informatica Data Quality, Manta, Big ID, Alation and Collibra
Ability to influence business adoption of new technologies
