Join this key leadership role on the Microsoft Global Talent Acquisition Excellence Team. This Director role leads multiple teams that enable Microsoft to make over 10,000 hires per year.

Direct the experiences for the various ways we recruit at scale. Shape how we do everything from event, requisition, inclusive, volume and specialty hiring.

Lead our execution of the talent acquisition global diversity and inclusion strategies for our recruiters, hiring managers and candidate experience.

  • Guide how we brand and market talent acquisition. This role can be located across Americas or Europe.ResponsibilitiesSet long-term vision for the planning and prioritization of programs;
  • you hold your team accountable for the intake and ongoing adoption of company-wide programs; you identify strategic goals to guide the design of policy, process, and tools that can be operationalized and managed at scale.

  • Provide thought leadership and expertise to influence strategy to support program readiness in partnership with HR partners and stakeholders;
  • you leverage HR infrastructure in managing global Rhythm of Business recruiting motions in partnership with peer HR disciplines.

    Audit the gathering and prioritizing of feedback from key operational stakeholders; you analyze needs for changes and communicate the impact of changes to program stakeholders.

  • You review business cases; you provide broad perspectives across processes on risk areas; you make decisions to create process and operating procedure documentation;
  • you provide oversight to business continuity strategy.Translate HR programs into operational project plans; you define the scope of work for projects;
  • you oversee requirements gathering; you provide mitigation plans to address risks and issues in project execution.Define project objectives and success criteria;
  • you guide project management by providing resources needed and auditing progress and deliverables; you partner with stakeholders / project sponsors / steering committee to evaluate project impact.

    Identify needs and lead your team in providing operational, infrastructure, and employee support analysis; you provide industry-wide expertise and strategic insights to inform project management.

    You help employees identify growth opportunities, develop skills, and build development plans. You drive the execution of projects.

    You establish and communicate performance expectations, identify, and address gaps and monitor performance to ensure plans are met.

    Qualifications11+ years’ experience in operations, compliance, human resources, engineering, or related field OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field AND 9+ years’ experience in operations, compliance, human resources, engineering, or related field.
