What you’ll do

We are looking for Channel Account Managers experienced in maintaining and expanding relationships with assigned, specialty, boutique channel resellers.

  • We are focused on specialized technology solution providers. The right candidate will have a proven record of achieving sales and partner growth objectives;
  • be able to design market plans to expand the market share of our company through qualified solution resellers while managing a wide range of responsibilities.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, MIS, or another relevant field.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in selling, marketing or supporting computer software solutions
  • The must haves

  • Business development mentality
  • Ability to educate partners on business opportunities
  • Partner coaching, co-selling
  • Skilled at building a pipeline, business planning, goal setting and execution
  • Managing inside sales representatives through influence to qualify and pass opportunities
  • Other knowledge, skills, and abilities needed

  • Have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be willing and able to travel.
  • Have mastered basic sales techniques.
  • Understand buying influences and cycles of software and hardware.
  • Work well on your own and as part of a team.
  • Accurately evaluate a territory and develop a strong sales plan.
  • Connect technical and business concepts to SAS’ products and customer needs.
