As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to grow our Advisory business in Brazil .
As a member of the sales team will be responsible to present, introduce and market UL’s Renewable Advisory capabilities in the Brazilian market.
The focus areas of growth of this sales executive will be Asset Advisory (Life Time Extension, Root Cost Analysis, Inspections, Performance assessments) and also our Energy Advisory and Technical Due Diligence capabilities (energy production reports, layout design and optimization and technical advisory to support M&A transactions and Independent Engineering for project financing).
What you’ll learn & achieve :
Sell UL’s Renewables Advisory services portfolio to the Brazilian clients (developers, utilities, operators mainly).
Have a close relationship with the financing community in Brazil, Banks and Financial Advisors to introduce UL’s independent technical capabilities to support M&A transactions and project financing.
Identify prospective new customers and work with technical leads to establish positive business relationships with them and present the complete software suit.
Participate of proposals detailing a clearly defined scope and understanding of client required deliverables and establishing a corresponding budget that satisfies the clients’ expectations
Introduce and present the different portfolio product offering to potential customers as well as follow up with them with the goal to close sales.
Supports development of Global and Strategic multi-year account plans in Advisory and Software by providing insight on renewables software offering in the region
Contributes to the development of strategy for their assigned specialized advisory services by providing input on customer needs, pain points, trends, etc.

Maintains ongoing plan to prioritize portfolio of accounts and maintain relationships throughout the year, identifying opportunities.
Serves as main point of client contact for renewable advisory services in Brazil.
Works with account managers on discovery and opportunity identification
Works under the guidance of account managers (GAMs, SAMs, KAMs) to seamlessly work with customers throughout the sales cycle
Brings in additional technical resources (e.g., engineers) when needed to support advisory sales opportunities
Provides input to account owner during account planning process on potential growth opportunities within assigned solution area
Makes connections and builds trusted advisor status with relevant account owners
Coordinate with sales and marketing teams the daily sales activities.
Collaborate with counterparts in other segments to identify and exploit synergies from existing clients. Establish regular channels of communication.
Attend regular departmental and team meetings; participate as appropriate in regular industry groups such as required.
Represent company at tradeshows, technical conferences and workshops, and business development meetings, as needed.
What makes you a great fit :
2+ years of experience in the renewable business in Brazil (either in technical or sales role)
5yr Sales Experience in technical renewable sales in Brazil
Knowledge of the renewable business and key players in Brazil, such as renewables auction system requirements and renewable project financing.
Relevant technical capabilities related to advisory services in Renewables
Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes
Fluency in English
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate
Ability to work effectively with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of high quality proposals;
Ability to maintain good relationships with clients;
Self-starter with ability to schedule and prioritize tasks and commitments.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software
