Senior Technical Recruiter - Contract

Position Summary

The Sr. Technical Recruiter will play an integral part of our talent acquisition initiatives. Will provide effective, full-

cycle recruiting and selection process primarily for technical positions, partnering with business / hiring managers and candidates to ensure a positive end-

to-end hiring experience.

Primary Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Consult with hiring manager to develop a complete understanding of the role and its needs. Develop an appropriate strategy with the hiring manager to attract the right candidates to the role.
  • Identifies creative strategies that will enhance efforts to meet hiring targets and goals.

  • Identifies strategies to shorten the processing time for recruiting, selecting and hiring of engineering and technical positions.
  • Develop & execute creative cost-effective sourcing solutions to fill difficult positions.

  • Responsible for sourcing applicants through networking, and other recruitment resources, university relations, company website, resume databases and other available online tools.

  • Provides full-cycle recruiting including but not limited to posting positions online, sourcing, conducting screening interviews, in-
  • person interviews. Coordinates all employment and related human resources processing duties; Coordinates and / or conducts reference check process of applicants awaiting an employment decision.

  • Reviews proposed salary offers and makes appropriate recommendations;
  • Coach hiring managers and teams through the process, interview prep and feedback sessions. Coordinates the interview processes;
  • prepares and reviews written tests as needed; develops interview questions, training and experience guidelines, and performance and assessment tests;
  • compiles and analyzes test results, and prepares findings.

  • Ensures that communication to interviewees is completed on all recruitments on a timely basis.
  • Prepares periodic analytical reports and documentation; maintains accurate records and files. Conducts presentations to various groups as necessary;
  • Qualifications, Skills & Education :

  • 10+ years professional experience in specialized recruitment for engineering / technical positions, with particular emphasis within software, internet, web, cloud industries.
  • BS CS / IS / MIS / Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • HR best practices of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Demonstrates strong customer-focus; builds collaborative relationships with internal and external customers; is sensitive to company needs, employee goodwill and public image.
  • Strong experience leveraging ATS / Taleo, and other HRIS systems (Workday)
  • Ability to partner with customers, advise, influence and make sound judgment calls; solid negotiating skills and decision making capability.
  • Ability to efficiently manage requisition load, prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, objectivity in responding to business needs. Possesses business acumen / knowledge.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and maintains confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, and results-oriented.
