A Canadian based, global material handling agribusiness is looking to find a Sales Manager for Fertilizer Equipment Systems for Brazil.
This is a highly important position that will lead the market development of my clients Brazilian fertilizer business under the direction of the Managing Director of Brazil Operation and Division Sales Manager.
My client manufactures a complete and extensive range of grain storage and fertilizer blending and handling equipment. They are looking for an individual that has experience in fertilizer and has sold related equipment or material handling components / systems.
They want someone with an engineering background that can build relationships with customers and can grow Brazil into a strong producing region.
Having the ability to speak English and Portuguese fluently is critical.
Work with the Brazil Leadership team to develop an effective fertilizer system sales strategy for the Brazil market.
Leverage relationships with the organizations multinational connections in the industry space as well as regional operators solely in Brazil to identify opportunities to supply our equipment and grow the brand.
Become an expert in the company’s fertilizer solutions and promotes their highly unique system designs to decision makers in the Brazilian market.
Collect customer project requirements accurately and works with the rest of the Company team to develop price proposals and respond to bid packages.
Work within the gross margin targets established by the Brazil Leadership team, negotiate with the customer, including terms, conditions and other contract conditions.
Follow projects through to conclusion to ensure the optimal customer experience.
Conduct post sales Voice of Customer exercises to ensure continuous improvement in the sale process.
Work with the VP of Marketing, developing a marketing plan and budget that is appropriate for the market sector.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive sales activity data using SalesForce.
Provide monthly reporting on sales activity including competitive intelligence and industry relevant activities.
Proven background in technical equipment sales, especially engineered to order projects.
Experience with systems designs and flowcharts
Engineering or Technical Background; agriculture and fertilizer experience greatly preferred.
Evidence of negotiations skills
Demonstrated strength in strategic planning and business development
Fluency in Portuguese & English languages
An effective communicator, who can work with all levels of management and non-supervisory employees to execute the responsibilities of this role.
Position based in Sao Paulo office.
