Product at Tractian
The Product organization identifies and scopes out the most impactful opportunities for Tractian to tackle. Our Product team have a deep understanding of the business and are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams across the company around key decisions.
They work most closely with the Engineering, Data and Design teams to set a well thought-out product strategy and define a roadmap that ensures Tractian's products continue to evolve for the benefit of our customers.
What you'll do
As a Software Demo Engineer, you will be responsible for building, scaling, and developing our Software Demonstrations, focused on events and client conversion.
The right candidate will be a highly self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously. Responsible for the full delivery of end-to-end system development and maintenance on medium Enterprise-wide technology platforms.
Responsibilities
Build reliable and robust product demos while navigating ambiguous product requirements
Responsible for architecting and building applications using React JS and NodeJS
Responsible for programming on specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycles.
Architect, build, and maintain excellent React JS applications
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and perform hands-on development and unit testing
Perform technical design and code reviews to maintain high quality and secure software
Prepare technical project documentation
Requirements
2+ years of experience with Full-Stack development
2+ years participating in API development and Web Services (REST)
Integrate third-party API's
Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including the ability to write well-documented, clean code
Experience with UI JavaScript Libraries and Frameworks
Bonus Points
Ability to complete tasks independently
Experience with DevOps and Continuous Delivery
