We are hiring a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer to our CLIENTS team (Eligibility Squad) in São Paulo!

The Eligibility squad is a very dynamic team responsible for making sure only the correct people can use the Gympass benefit provided by the Client.

We need to create ways so the HR will properly inform Gympass about who's eligible to be a member, and we often discuss how this can be done.

You'll be part of initiatives as a Mid-level Engineer, contributing to delivering eligibility file exchange, dealing with multiple data to define how to uniquely identify the employees, Single Sign-On, automated integrations via public APIs to be consumed by the clients, and more while dealing with several data protection initiatives, like asymmetric encryption and data masking.

The B2B tribe is a global area with diverse members in Brazil, Portugal, the United States and Spain. Our user is the HR and we focus to provide the best set of tools to seamlessly integrate Gympass into the company while creating tools to engage its employees for living a life full of wellbeing.


As a Mid-level Software Engineer you will be part of an A-Players software engineering team, driving initiatives, own project deliverables, be part of engineering decisions over design documents, and especially writing well-tested code focused on maintenance.

Also, as the Mid-level engineer, it's expected from you to actively learn and specialize in our technical stack, as well as learn new ones while supporting the team to succeed.

Your deliverables influence B2B and B2C clients around the globe, by creating smooth and easy ways to allow HR to define eligibility criteria, which is the gateway for hundreds of thousands of consumers to achieve their membership.

You will have plenty of opportunities to take part in architectural decisions, suggest improvements and interact with the product team and other business stakeholders in a highly collaborative agile environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Focus on making things right and better at every opportunity;
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, ideally written in Java + Springboot;
  • Previous experience with Kotlin is a plus;
  • Solid Software quality and test automation mindset;
  • Cloud computing (AWS) and Cloud Native (K8S) experience is a nice to have;
  • Familiar with SQL and relational databases;
