The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world.
Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Drives improvements in usability, customer and product metrics to comply with industry standards, such as NPS / NSS, IFIR / FIR, or other standards.
Drives continuous improvement in the quality of Dell systems, peripherals and software, as experienced by customers.
Ensures that Dell delivers high quality products to customers.
Ensures quality goals and performance measurements are met.
Monitors quality results and identifies exceptions requiring investigation.
Drives investigation, capture, root cause failure analysis, containment, corrective actions and process improvements to prevent issue recurrence.
Conducts quality post-mortemand documents lessons learned and recommendations to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Works with customers and customer feedback to drive product improvement through development process.
Program management of quality deliverables / processes during development lifecycle process, such as phase review process.
Inspects and tests in-process raw materials, production equipment and finished products.
Essential Requirements
Moderate software / IT engineering / code development experience on Cobol applications
Knowledge in Service-Oriented Architecture like : OSB, SOAP, XML, REST, WebServices
Capable of working in a dynamic environment with minimal direction while delivering in a timely fashion
Ability to find quick consensus of new information and moderate knowledge of system being tested
Advanced English level.
