As a Business Development Manager within Amazon Web Services, you would be able to shape the future of the storage industry and further establish Amazon as the leader in the cloud computing space.
You would use your business acumen to drive revenue, develop sales programs and identify new markets and opportunities. You would work directly with the most interesting and demanding customers to understand their requirements and turn them into reality.
Working hand in hand with our sales teams and solution architects, you would help deliver the finest solutions based on our platform of storage services.
Your in-depth technical background in the storage industry would help customers understand how to improve their businesses using the right services.
Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will allow you build sales enablement tools, evangelize our platform with our enterprise customers, start-ups and valued partners.
10+ years of business development experience with proven, demonstrable results.
5+ years selling and or marketing technology - preferably cloud, hosted or managed services - within the technology industry.
7+ years of demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas : business development, project management, operations, sales or marketing.
10+ years of experience working with storage solutions.
Fluency in English and Portuguese
MBA / BS / BA degree or equivalent relevant business experience.
Familiar and comfortable talking about the AWS portfolio of services, pricing and programs.
Technical / Analytical ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people and systems in order to invent, simplify and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes.
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a complex, ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
Strong ability with tools such as Excel, Salesforce.com, wiki and document management.
Demonstrable ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
Ability to work effectively with cross-organizational teams in an international, diverse and complex organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to positively influence decision making.
Comfortable presenting and interfacing with leadership.
Experience selling to Fortune 1000 and / or Global 2000 organizations.
Experience with cloud computing and / or related fields (IT, software, etc.).
