We are looking for customer experience passionate professional that can drive payments performance to lead key growth initiatives.

The role should work closely with internal clients such as Business Units heads, Customer Service, Finance, Accounting and Fraud Prevention, as well as third party partners, and banks relied upon to process payments.

This team also facilitates the local operational relationship with third party payment partners, advocating for customer experience and applying operational improvements.

Amazon’s Consumer Payments Brazil organization is seeking an experienced product manager that can oversee all payment methods that Amazon Brazil provides for customers and drive enhancements in terms of 1) Access to Amazon, 2) Costs of Payments, and 3) Paying Customer Experience.

In this role, working closely with Payment Acceptance Product Manager, you will be responsible for owning initiatives that relate to all existing Amazon BR payments and make appropriate improvements and fixing action plans.

He / She will ensure that Amazon delivers a consistent, low friction purchase and payment experiences across all surfaces while retaining our industry-

leading low fraud rates, effectively removing payments related bottlenecks to help business growth. This role will partner with internal customers to identify points of friction, build a business case, propose requirements and advocate for customer experience improvement projects.

Candidate should lead payments marketing campaigns and machine learning to drive migration towards payment products that provide better value to our customers and lower costs to Amazon.

You will ground your approach with direct customer research and campaign analytics, partnering with our product managers and data scientists to drive the best experience to Amazon customers.

Expect to dive deep into customer metrics, competitive bench-marking and payments data to inform your marketing strategy.

You will take pride in delighting your customers by helping the product team achieve their growth objectives. You will have high judgement and understand which opportunities drive the most strategic value for the business.

This position involves regular communication with senior leadership on risks, financial and operational program metrics.

Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will also have superior analytical abilities and a track record of finding practical, simple and creative solutions to complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality.

You should be comfortable working both at the strategic level and diving deep into details as needed to ensure high quality execution.

You will chart the course of enhancing existing and creating new products and services that solve real problems for our customers and internal stakeholders (including legal, tax, accounting, treasury and IT security teams).

You will ensure that your assigned products meet and exceed the highest processing standards including cost, revenue, security, technical precision.

You will work across the company with existing platform systems and your clients to enable and develop payment products that grow with our customer and business needs.

  • 8+ years of proven relevant work experience
  • Proficient in English - Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving abilities
  • Experience with BI payments metrics performance, CRM strategy and portfolio management
  • Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes together with experience on building and analyzing cost / benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
  • Experience in e-commerce and financial services
  • Experience with payments portfolio management
  • Experience with Customer Experience projects
  • MBA preferred
