In this role you will have the opportunity to help grow our WhatsApp Business API partner channel, that serves mid and large sized clients globally.
Our Channel Partner Managers have strong deal, strategy and relationship management experience to accelerate our partner go-to-market strategy as well as strong channel and SaaS expertise.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong channel sales or partnerships background that enables them to engage with our resellers and channel partners across the organizations at the VP / SVP level.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need the ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges while building and conveying compelling value propositions and working cross functionally to influence consensus.
You'll be encouraged to exercise your creativity as we look to expand our channel partner footprint as measured by customer, volume and revenue growth.
Channel Partner Manager, WhatsApp Responsibilities
Manage select WhatsApp Business API partners in the region to support scaling of the product and growing the business
Set targets and goals in alignment with regional expectations and ensure delivery against plans
Managing pipeline information and local client relationships to identify potential new business leads, growth opportunities or future competitive trends
Maintain account plans and build close working relationships with key stakeholders in the marketplace
Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
Provide an objective commercial viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of commercial and competitive information
Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with cross functional leaders and stakeholders
Support ideation, partnership development, and launch of innovative business products and services
Along with cross functional teams, create, maintain and influence relationships with key ecosystem players in the region to help establish a narrative of WhatsApp business products
5+ years of experience in Business Development or equivalent relevant experience
Experience growing channel partnerships with new customers and generating revenue impact
Experience building and driving pipeline within channel partners by evangelising and collaborating with partners' sales organizations
Experience in building or managing partnerships and programs
Experience forecasting channel revenue accurately with strong CRM skills
Experience analyzing data to drive business decisions and strategy
Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners
Analytical and problem-solving experience
Fluency in English
Experience managing partnerships and programs around messaging systems in a large-scale environment
Experience in cPaaS, SaaS or enterprise software environments
