As a Google Cloud Longtail Business Development Representative (LT BDR), you will play a key role in the Sales Organization.

In collaboration with your sales team, you will identify, qualify, and cultivate cloud computing opportunities. You will identify and build a high quality pipeline for our Representatives so they can ultimately meet or exceed their goals.

You'll gain a deep understanding of how our solutions solve problems related to digital transformation for our customers.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Generate Pipeline within a dynamic book of business of Long Tail GCP accounts by uncovering new revenue growth opportunities and preventing churn
  • Attain daily and weekly activity metrics : new opportunities identified, outbound calls made, decision makers contacted, leads qualified
  • Qualify leads in / out quickly and accurately
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest offering / product / service information.
  • Clearly articulate the compelling value propositions
  • Capture, track, and advance qualified leads in Salesforce CRM and maintain accurate information to provide accurate forecasting and pipeline updates
  • Contribute to the team's knowledge base, including identifying areas for process
  • Ability to speak and write in required local native languages and English
  • Minimum

  • 1-3 years Cold Calling / Prospecting or sales experience within the technology industry
  • BA / BS degree or relevant experience
  • Experience in engaging with customers in new / developing markets with strategic outreach cadences
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management capabilities
  • As this team is often the first touch to the customer, bar-raising professionalism and problem-solving skills are a must
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships
  • Experience managing competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace - Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and able to zoom in / out from the big picture to the minute
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
  • Ability to speak and write in required local native languages and English
  • Preferred

    3 - 5 years sales / business development experience in enterprise IT or Cloud Service Providers Demonstrable ability to speak credibly about PaaS / IaaS / SaaS and perform basic technical qualification

    Strong outbound sales skills with proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets

    Strong analytical skills for processing and prioritizing opportunities
