About the Role
WeWork is looking for a talented leader to build the Strategic Finance function for Latin America. This person will report to LatAm’s CFO / Vice President of Finance, and their team will perform a wide breadth of work from analyzing new market and revenue opportunities to designing new business models and implementing new processes to driving financial analyses in our real estate selection process.
They will also have strong influence skills, being able to work across functional teams like sales, real estate, construction, and more.
This role will work closely with cross-functional leaders across the organization.
Serve as the strategic partner to regional functional leads (e.g., real estate, development, sales, marketing, etc.) to identify business opportunities and improve efficiency
Drive highly visible strategic projects, working cross-functionally to structure problems, analyze opportunities, and develop solutions and actionable recommendations and results through a rigorous, data-driven process
Work closely with the LatAm Planning Director to determine long term strategy, set direction, and drive resource alignment
Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock productivity and accelerate execution
Provide insights to the business through analytics and market research
Key Experience & Competencies
MBA preferred. At least 3 years experience managing people directly.
Experience driving large and complex initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research / analysis to building the business and operational plans to driving execution and success
Strong leadership, analytical and financial skills to solve complex business problems
