Position Summary
Responsible for the overall portfolio development of Surgical BU
Assist in the execution of sales, development and growth of the new and current accounts on sales channels
Principal Responsibilities
Maintain a quarterly and annual regional business plan that outlines surgical national sales objectives and areas of vulnerability;
and provide precise monthly forecasts.
Effectively communicate Surgical portfolio value proposition to surgeons
Qualify, train, assess, and ultimately develop new accounts as well as increasing sales in the current customers
Communicate current market conditions, recommend improvements to the commercial process, and contribute to Surgical overall strategic execution.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, KOLs, and societies within designated region.
Promote, Develop and sell Teleflex Surgical products in key accounts
Assure sales strategy execution through sales channels
Product training by surgical specialties
Alignment with marketing development managers to update portfolio about discontinuations and products replacement and / or any product changes;
Assist in the elaboration of the marketing material (translation correction, material applicability, best customer use)
Encourage and monitor work and case studies with the use of Teleflex products
Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
5-7 years of proven sales experience in medical devices industry and related surgical environment
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
Operating room experience is preferred
Experience training surgeons in OR setting
Strong track record of over-performing sales versus plan
Excellent negotiating skills; ability to adapt to changing work priorities; and ability to maintain good working relationships while dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential matters and with a wide variety of personal and customer contacts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to continuously refine sales techniques to achieve maximum performance.
Proficient in PC-based office computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
Professional work ethic, strong organizational skills, and ability to operate independently.
