What You’ll do (the role)
Coordinate the economic and financial metrics of the portfolio of solar projects under management and potential acquisitions, respecting the required conditions of diversification and competitiveness.
Duties and responsibilities
Maintain and refine financial models both in Utility-scale and Distributed Generation, in close coordination with Structured Finance team in UK;
Create and maintain sensitivity tools to assist project managers in decision making;
Interface with project managers to receive the premises of each project, make a critical analysis of them and perform the necessary analysis to assess their economic and financial attractiveness;
Coordination of the projects' Data room for project finance purposes;
Perform financial and feasibility analyses to be presented at Investment Committees;
Support business decision-making processes on strategies that seek to optimize financial returns;
Compare the attractiveness of portfolio projects and against market references, with semi-annual update of the ranking of projects;
Responsible for preparing financial analyses for M&A opportunities, either to evaluate a buyside opportunity or to analyse the gains / losses with potential sales / valuation analysis;
Elaboration of monthly market intelligence report, contemplating macroeconomic overview, recent M&A deals, equity and debt drivers, among others;
Local coordination / interface for the definition of the financial assumptions (especially long / short term debt terms and conditions, as well as macroeconomic assumptions) under the responsibility of the Structured Finance team in UK;
Interface with local banks in the coordination of financing processes, in addition to coordinating interactions with financial advisor;
Support the development team in preparing Brazil's strategy, reaching the expected competitiveness and portfolio growth.
Who we’re looking for
Overview of Priority Activities
Currently the priority and higher allocation of time is directed to the Milagres project, with Financial Close scheduled for the end of June 2021.
Among the main work fronts, are the interactions with the Financial Advisor to validate the strategy for contracting PPAs (and related simulations), review of the financial model, definition of the best financing strategy and chronogram validation, sensitivities of different combinations of equipment, among others;
Update and sensitivities of the other projects in the portfolio, with emphasis on Bom Lugar, especially for NBOs for new PPAs.
For each front of these, stands out as a product of the analyzes, presentations with the main inputs and outputs to be shared with the investment committee;
Assessments of potential acquisitions, with emphasis in Southeast greenfield, Boqueirão and brownfield opportunities, in line with the portfolio strategy, with sensitivity analysis, validation of the assumptions made with the other parties, and necessary adjustments to mitigate non-transferable risks to the selling party.
Business intelligence skills;
Knowledge of renewable energy power market;
Experience in Valuation, M&A processes in the renewable energy market

Strong relationship with EPC’s and ICP’s.
Knowledge of fundamental project management systems and procedures in the construction industry Full driving license
Prior experience in a similar role, both in greenfield development and project acquisitions;
Proven track record of : Ability to interact with multidiscipline teams; Adapting to new challenges and learning swiftly;
and, Completing tasks on schedule with excellent quality;
Fluency in English and Portuguese;
