In this role, you will be responsible Accountable for the long-term profitable growth and marketing of the ABB offering to targeted market segments, by developing and managing it through all of its life cycle phases, according to market needs and Product Group strategy and targets.
Leading market intelligence analysis, understanding and defining current market segmentation and related positioning and identifying potential gaps in portfolio, both against competition and new market opportunity
Defining the Penetration, Innovation and Expansion 3-5 year strategic and portfolio plan, in alignment with the BU and PG strategy
Acting as interface between external market and internal functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, and Research & Development), forecasting volume trends on a regular basis to ensure operation’s capability to fulfill customer orders
Proposing the productization / modularization of product / solution offering , follow up on new products / solutions roadmap, develop the go to market plans, decides the new applications plans, sets technical, price, cost and capital expenditure targets
Initiating and driving product market communication strategy, managing different channel to market scenarios in coordination with partners and FES / International Marketing & Sales to ensure best market coverage
Defining product customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensuring clear communication to channels and users, to deliver clear positioning within the portfolio with defined values for the relevant application
Based on BU strategy, promote and develop Center of Excellence concept and nomination of dedicated expert people for execution support
Developing an added value proposal, marketing approach and channels-to market developing marketing material supported by Marketing and Communication
Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, MBA would be an asset
Experience in automation as well as demonstrable experience within the digital space
Should be able to rapidly understand the market challenges and must able to efficiently build bridges between all the stakeholders
Should have demonstrated leadership skills
Brings along a global mindset to drive business forward
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
Flexibility to travel internationally (50-80%)
