Adexen Recruitment Agency is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer for a leading-edge technology to the global oil & gas and construction industry for its operations in Angola

Our Client is an international organisation that develops, manufactures, and markets products for the oil & gas, construction, building maintenance and mining industries, primarily to the professional end-user.
Job Description :
He / She will be responsible to develop and support specialized direct and indirect sales channels
We will also be looking out for someone with technical knowledge i.e. he should have knowledge about construction equipment
To interact actively with customers so as to become their consultant in Construction issues
To follow-up existing customer showing high degree of commitment and professionalism
To find & develop new potential customers
To set and maintain a clear activity agenda
Growing the company’s product lines
Providing relevant reports and information
To develop and support specialized indirect sales channels to grow the Power Pillar
To follow up all sales relevant steps proposal, contract, order, invoice and payment
To monitor movements and performance of competition and deepen understanding of competitive landscape in assigned territory
To build rapport with local service team and increase customer satisfaction
To strictly follow the company s Business Code of Practice in all activities
Excellent record of successful achievement related to project / account support and specification creation
Requirements :
Engineering degree, preferably mechanical, petroleum or civil
3-5 years’ experience would be required, preferably in technical sales and / or in oil&gas
Experience in working with engineering firms, getting specifications on important projects would be a strong advantage
Experience in account management in large complex engineering related environment will an added advantage
Demonstrated proficiency with project management activities including budgeting, defining & managing scope, risk management, and scheduling
Ability to work under stress to tight deadlines while dealing with unexpected problems that are coming daily on top of the normal business with the ability to develop last minute plans
Must be able to take decisive action to remediate errors and change a process to stop any repeat
Strong character, results focused and determined to succeed
Entrepreneurial approach excellent record of achieving results by working effectively with and through others
Result-oriented
Used to influence without authority
Above average negotiation skills
