Mondelez International is looking for vacancy : Data Science Raw Materials Position Purpose As data becomes very important, MDLZ would like to harness the potential and use data efficiently to empower the spend area directors to take the right decisions in the marketplace.

This role is reponsible for developing and managing various data models and cause effect scenario. This role will be performing cost model statistical analysis including sourcing strategy optimization leveraging multiple sources across the spend portfolio and data lake.

In addition, this role will lead the design and development of "should-cost" models to ensure a consistent framework facilitating parametric bidding.

This role aligns with the Spend Analyst pool to ensure the correct data is being leveraged and managed for the Spend Area. Main Responsibilities

  • Identifies patterns, applies context and intelligence, and extracts relevant information hidden in large volumes of disparate data points and sources.
  • Champions and leads the spend area team in data-driven decision-making focusing on the "how and why" of solving problems and providing insights to guide alternative sourcing strategies

  • Designs and implements data models and statistical methods (including cost and predictive modeling for cost / risk) setting the foundation for managing of supplier costs, parametric bidding, and SRM initiatives
  • Integrates external data with internal, aligning with procurement best practices to generate insights and drive procurement strategy
  • Provides advanced analytics support for strategic complex (parametric) bidding leveraging cost modeling
  • Manages full data portfolio of spend area working with the various spend area data owners ensuring data accuracy and validity.
  • Propose the effective sourcing calendar to the Sourcing directors to best manage the market / internal resources.
  • Coordinate as single point of contact for the spend areas for outlook on productivity, cash. Support the spend lead in preparation of the AC as well as SP.
  • Academic Knowledge

  • Appropriate University Bachelor's Degree, preferrable in a quantitative discipline
  • Working Knowledge

  • Strong quantitative skillset with knowledge in statistics, linear algebra.
  • Knowledge of programmming language an advantage.
  • Background in a procurement setting manipulating procurement data such as cost models and supplier spend is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Spend Area at hand
