As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise.

You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders.

You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-

offs in product development with engineers.This team helps mobile operators provide a significantly improved and ubiquitous communications experience via Google's Rich Communications Services (RCS) applications.

Minimum qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in computer / software technology. - 2 years of experience working with enterprise customers (in professional services, tech support, and / or product management).
  • Preferred qualifications : - 2 years of technology-related project management experience. - Experience with mobile technology solutions / applications.

  • Experience with software development processes and agile tools (e.g. Jira, Pivotal Tracker, Bugzilla, etc.). - Experience with troubleshooting technical issues, including capturing and analyzing logs.
  • Familiarity with IP messaging, SIP, RCS. - Be the technical prime to support the engagement process, from initial exploratory discussions and technical evaluation through to delivery handoff.
  • Apply experience, practical knowledge and judgment in driving the technical evaluation process, which may include point of contacts, across multi-
  • level internal and external stakeholders. - Work closely with partner program managers and the Business Development team, under the direction of our Head of Partner Architecture, to develop technical specifications for service launch.

  • Travel extensively in the region in support of partner engagement activities. Bring technical credibility to our partner engagement process, presenting and engaging confidently with partners at a cross-
  • functional level (technical, commercial, marketing). - Work with our Partner Program Managers to scope service launches and hand off to our delivery team and work on the production of product and sales support documentation.
