Job Description :
Office based position - Sao Paulo
The Manager, FP&A Brazil is responsible for preparing local (Brazil) financial budgets and forecasts. This individual also prepares monthly and quarterly reports to senior management highlighting and reporting on variances from budget and prior forecast.
This involves cross-functional internal collaboration with several departments in the organization.
S / he also works closely with the local and corporate accounting organization to ensure proper expense / revenue recognition and compliance with internal controls.
Leads annual budget preparation and forecasts processes (revenue and OPEX) and provides periodic forecast updates by partnering with relevant areas in the organization
Prepares and distributes Budget vs Actuals (BvA) reports and preforms analysis vs. budget and latest forecasts
Maintains close communication with senior stakeholders at the business unit and functional level to ensure timely understanding of risk factors that may impact forecasts.
Develops and builds expense tracking models.
Maintains standard reporting tools to help identify key risks and opportunities.
Participates in finance system optimization to streamline data gathering processes for reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Supports financial and business controls and standards including SOX requirements.
Performs special projects / ad hoc analysis as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Accounting discipline
Solid experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment
Advanced English, both written and verbally is a must
Desirable experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI
Analytical approach to job responsibilities with emphasis on process improvement and business relevancy
Proven ability to be an effective business partner to operations management.
