The Master DataProcess Consultant position will be accountable for the governance, systems andprocess design around Master Data Maintenance proceduresand controls.
This position should be knowledgeable and skilled in boththe core business processes as well as systems used related to objectsetup / maintenance and core configurations.
This position will work acrossCargill functions and departments to ensure we are enabling Cargill’s goal inrealizing value through treating data as a corporate asset.
Responsiblefor assisting with integration of Master Data Maintenance activities includinggovernance, education and security across multiple BU / Functions.
Withsome oversight, analyzes and interprets Master Data Maintenance processes andinformation gained through specific business and analytical insights, andguides key stakeholders from multiple BUs / Functions on how to use this data tomake sound business decisions.
Ability to map and design Master Data process flows for differentERP environment and Language’s.
Executesexpert Maintenance activities on Customers, Vendors, Materials or FinanceMaster Data objects in ERP systems, in compliance with pre-defined datastandards.
Oversee output of master data request processors, ensuring that themaintenance of data is done in compliance with pre-defined data standards.
Comply with all the Master data policies from each domains; ensuringdocumentation of internal processes, procedures and tools are maintainedaccurately.
Partners with Master Data Specialist for audits & Control Risk Owners(CRO) responsibilities. Works with auditors during thewalkthrough,helping them with all the audits requirements such as samples, documentations,etc.
Oversee E2E data maintenance process mapping for different masterdata objects.
Monitor for data integrity andaddress failures.
Perform / monitor replication totarget ERP system.
Communicate changes and ensureprocess readiness.
Escalate to GPO / Advisorrepeated issues.
Create and maintain trainingdocuments and standard operating procedures; perform training as needed.
Own the Remedy Force requesttemplates and work with IT team to make any needed updates.
Proficiency with the masterdata objects, including both process and field definitions, as well asunderstanding of the role of the objects in the business processes and systems
Participate in the Data Issuesforum raising issues and identifying continuous improvement opportunities onthe E2E process.
Provides experienced support inMaster Data Management solution development, communication, training andimplementation.
Provides general insight to the work plan, schedule and requiredpersonnel for Master Data Maintenance Solution Migrations, Deployments,Acquisitions and Joint Ventures
Assist the Master Data Analysisand Functional Design Working Group for ERP Deployments.
Perform data analysis ofproblem and assist in Solutioning.
Perform impact assessment (datastandards, data definitions, E2E process, and documentation).
Review and Test solutionalternatives.
Implements and provides inputto the development of operations policies, procedures and internal controls.
Actively participates inprocess improvement activities to ensure system and data accuracy andefficiency as business develops.
May recognize risks andprovides general insight to the design of controls to mitigate and / or eliminaterisks.
Acts as skilled support contactbetween the IT development group and BUs / Functions for the development andimplementation of new systems, and enhancement of existing systems.
Compiles designs andintegration points across Master Data Maintenance solution to ensure businessrequirements are met.
Create and maintain effectiveworking relationship with the Master Data Analysis and Design Working Groupthat is made up of Data Architects, Data Stewards, and Data Specialists
Key contact to multiples teamfrom different domains and GPO / Advisor for answering questions on requests inprocess
Applies a full understanding ofprocess & solution management to identify best practices and suggests howto improve current practices across the local Master Data Operations.
Business experience related to MasterData
Process mapping experience
English Level C1
ERP experience, preferably SAP and / or JDE
Proficiency in Process Consultant
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new systems
Experience in Shared Services orBusiness Process Management environments
