The purpose of the Account Executive, Emerging Markets is to grow the customer base from the acquisition of new business from small and mid-

size companies through direct sales efforts. Success will come from a combination of skill and productivity. The Emerging Markets Account Executive will be accountable for meeting or exceeding all objectives defined by AvidXchange.


  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue quotas and activity
  • objectives as defined by Sales Management.

  • Provide a great buying experience for prospects, customers
  • and resellers.

  • Utilize to manage leads,
  • opportunities, activities and capture important Voice of the Customer learnings.

  • Professionally represent AvidXchange and its
  • offerings. This includes the ability to create customer excitement by demonstrating

    to customers how to use AvidXchange solutions and its value.

  • Support a team environment by sharing best practices
  • and maintaining a winning mindset.

  • Effectively maximize call time to generate new
  • leads, follow up on partner generated leads, and advance the decision-making

    process and close new business. Minimum

    contact volumes and service levels defined by the company.

  • Support a values-based culture and a great place to
  • Skills

  • Capable of building effective relationships with
  • senior decision makers in mid-market companies. Able to understand strategic

    priorities, business needs, pain points, and opportunities to sell AvidXchange


  • Ability to utilize a solutions selling approach to
  • advance new customers through their decision-making process resulting in the

    purchase of the AvidXchange solutions that match their needs.

  • Able to effectively create a compelling reason to
  • buy through defined marketing messaging and the presentation of AvidXchange

    value propositions.

  • Able to effectively manage time resulting in
  • maximized productivity.

  • Technically capable of using and demonstrating
  • AvidXchange solutions.

  • Maintain a sufficient pipeline of opportunities,
  • with a least 30% of new opportunities being self-generated

    Experience and Education

  • 5+ years’ experience in an inside / outside sales
  • role, preferably with a software and / or technology firm presenting

    technological solutions and software demonstrations to technical and

    non-technical buyers.

  • Success in selling solutions to C level executives
  • in mid-market companies.

  • Experience selling directly to CFO’s leveraging a
  • value-based selling approach

  • Experience with or other similar CRM
  • solutions.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales
  • quotas.

  • Experience with selling automated accounts payable
  • or procurement solutions preferred

  • Experience selling to education, franchises or
  • financial services markets preferred

  • Ability to travel when required
  • Bachelors
  • degree or equivalent experience.
