We are a team of 20 Quality Assurance Specialists with different profiles who work in different projects from several areas of the company (vehicle diagnostics, finance, control, production, purchase, sales, connected services and so on) and even from different countries (Sweden, Poland, USA, Peru, Argentina).

Even working in separate projects, we still find a way to help each other and to exchange knowledge and experiences.

Our organization is going through a digitalization journey, so we are working inside our team to develop the required skills, such as test automation and agile mindset.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist / Test Automation Engineer you will work in a Global cross-functional organization with team members in Sweden, Brazil, India and USA focusing on Diagnostic Solutions.

We are developing the next generation of Diagnostic Service Platform, which is a key enabler for reinventing our digital experience in the Volvo Aftermarket world.

Working agile, part of an agile release train with 50+ people, your team will have 5 to 10 people, delivering new functionalities every 10 weeks.

Who are you?

You have solid experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.

As a QA professional, you are a team player focused to increase the delivery quality, with a wide view for the project, working close to the business and technical team.

You are willing to interact with a different software platform and software testing.

As a person, you are a team player with a continuous improvement, growth mind-set and you are curious on further take on various challenges in our Portfolio.

Your main activities and responsibilities will be :

Create and maintain test scripts to ensure team deliveries quality and increase the regression tests.

Purpose new solution to create and increase test coverage for all different deliveries (Back-end Services, Web, Mobile, Desktop).

Collaborate with back and front-end Software Engineers to improve the deliveries quality.

Work closely with our business.

Test Automation / Development skills :

Demonstrated knowledge of standard testing philosophy and procedures.

Demonstrated knowledge of software development.

Understanding of software development principles and the QA role in this process.

Familiarity with one of the following languages : Java Script, C#, Java, Python

Experience with front-end test automation, like Selenium or similar.

Education :

Relevant university degree in IT

Able to communicate in English
