We’d like you to join the ranks of our growing leaders!As our Safety Manager, we’ll count on you to provide leadership in implementing the company’s safety efforts.
You will plan, implement and supervise the onsite corporate safety program and ensure compliance with the company philosophy.
You will regularly meet with field safety officers and train and mentor the team from a safety perspective. A primary responsibility will be to research new regulations and developments in the field of Health and Safety and recommend changes to our company’s program and assist in documenting and implementing changes in the safety program.
You’ll write job-specific safety plans, schedules jobsite visits and safety audits, and ensure full compliance of safety plans.
In addition, you will control hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee practices through site visits, safety plans, and education of all supervisory personnel.
This also involves reinforcing safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and improved morale. By reviewing documentation, you will insure all required onsite records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures.
As our leader and member of Safety Committee Task Force, we’ll expect you to create a working atmosphere that promotes openness and a high level of enthusiasm and morale in the field.
