The Energy Production Innovation Center (EPIC), located at UNICAMP, the University of Campinas (Brazil), and financed by Equinor Brasil Energia and the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), has post-doctoral fellowship opportunities at Research Line 1 Production Optimization using Numerical Reservoir Simulation Models.

Our research areas are :

AT1 : Reservoir representation in simulation models;

AT2 : Optimization and decision analysis;

AT3 : Simulation of enhanced oil recovery methods;

AT4 : Simulation and visualization of models;

AT5 : Integration between reservoir and production systems.

RL1 has the participation of professors from UNICAMP : Denis Schiozer (coordinator), Anderson Rocha, André Fioravanti, Celmar Silva, Guilherme Coelho, Phillippe Devloo, and Professor Marcio Pinto from the University of São Paulo (USP).

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. Applicants must send the following documents to , informing in the subject line EPIC Postdoctoral application for RL1 :

1) Résumé and academic records;

2) A motivation letter, in English, also informing the preferred field of research;

3) Two letters of recommendation.

4) List of scientific publications.

The vacancies are full-time and require fluency in English. The fellowship is funded by FAPESP and includes a monthly stipend of R$ (Brazilian Real), access to the health-care system of UNICAMP, and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
