Responsibilities- Lead legal-related privacy projects, programs, and administrative measures for the Latin America and Brazil legal teams - Coordinating external law firms to perform multi-jurisdictional project management and regulatory issues- Assume full life-cycle management responsibilities including structuring, implementing, and ultimately driving cross-functional groups to complete Latin America and Brazil privacy initiatives upon business required deadlines- Coordinate internal communication and training amongst different teams to implement such standards and practices- Focus on privacy and data protection IT solutions that can be integrated or created to scale workflow throughput- Merge solutions across key jurisdictions and their legal requirements with a focus on Latin America and Brazil but should have foundational knowledge of LGPD and data privacy laws in Latin America- Research and update our internal, and / or external policies and procedures according to new laws and regulations that may impact our businesses and products- Able and available during critical times to assess and respond to cybersecurity incidentsQualifications- Law Degree from Mexico or Brazil.

Must have significant global privacy exposure, which includes an understanding of legal frameworks, privacy principles / standards, and operationally compliant solutions.

Legal experience focus on privacy and / or cybersecurity.- Must be Fluent in Portuguese / English. Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred.

Experience should include structuring, managing, and driving global / regional projects for a major MNC.- Experience, and more importantly personal interest, in data privacy, technology, social network, internet, and all things digital is ideal.

Experience with project tracking, creating organizational consensus, and managing deadlines is imperative.- Detail oriented that can coordinate across multiple teams / countries.

Ability to be able to identify inefficiencies and create process improvement through standardization and policies.- Determination to face tough challenges in a fast-paced environment while keeping a sense of humor.

CIPM and / or CIPP certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
