What You’ll Do

The Director International eCommerce Strategy GTS will work to oversee and strategize the performance of an important part of our overall vision, leading implementation of new business models and creating business cases for new projects and approaches to build and scale the business.

You will articulate the vision and potential, set criteria for success and mobilize cross functional and senior stakeholders to invest time, resources and effort.

You will own the strategy, partnering cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, IT, Ops, Product etc. to develop ideas & lead execution. In addition :

  • Build and drive the strategy for high-growth Initiatives. You will work closely with the Transformation Office and other teams to design and scale new initiatives, track success metrics and consumer feedback to continuously optimize the value proposition in the market.
  • Lead launch of new business models including direct to consumer (DTC) & business to consumer (B2C / Marketplaces) in multiple markets across Europe, Asia & Latin America.
  • This includes collaborating with IT, Finance, Marketing, Sales & Operations to enable execution, build consumer centric experiences and optimize value creation for the consumer and Stanley Black and Decker.

  • Analyze, measure and benchmark. Conduct data analysis, market research, and user research to identify opportunities. Develop methodologies & process to monitor sales & share performance, including keeping a pulse on competitive intelligence.
  • Build organizational capability to leverage consumer data to drive eCommerce sales. Partner with Global Consumer Experience & Commercial teams to create value, drive sales & improve consumer experience.
  • Lead development of End to End digital eco-system, partnering with IT, Global Consumer Experience, Consumer Care and local Marketing and eCommerce teams to design the technology required to enable our full potential business strategies.
  • Be the industry expert for key eCommerce thought leadership initiatives. You will identify opportunities by keeping up with new technology, industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Build a digital community & communication plan to engage global talent, share best practices, and celebrate success.
  • Who You Are You’re an emotionally intelligent, tenacious problem solver who can bring big ideas to life working in connection with commercial teams.

    You’re creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization and a myriad of stakeholders with ease. You’re known as a developer of people employing a variety of approaches to support a diverse team of people across regions and at various stages of their careers while keeping them focused on delivering top-notch customer experiences, always. You also have :

  • 10+ years of professional experience with evidence of increasing responsibility
  • Strong strategic & organizational agility, skilled at articulating & inspiring vision & purpose
  • Prior experience creating and strategizing digital initiatives in a consumer or eCommerce company, with a track record from launch to scale.
  • Significant global experience in DTC and B2C.
  • Consumer centric digital marketing experience
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and creative problem solving. Past consulting experience is a plus
  • Tactical experience designing, building and executing scalable business models from scratch, ideally in a channel and operational intensive environment.
  • Willing to dig in and do what it takes to make sure the business succeeds

  • Outstanding quantitative skills and aptitude
  • Humble and effective cross-functional team player with great leadership potential
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in an analytical field or equivalent exceptional work experience; MBA preferred
  • A passion for Stanley Black & Decker, Global Tools & Storage and where it is headed
