class e-commerce. is an important and fast-growing business for Amazon is looking for a Product Manager to play an important role within Brazil Retail team. You will work cross-functionally with finance, site merchandisers, buyers and developers on a wide variety of projects including sales and promotion analysis, processes development, selection growth, industry, and competition monitoring within your category.

You need to be a self-starter, with a real passion for retail and internet, a high level of autonomy, flexibility, and commitment.

He or she will have shown analytical capability and project management skills and will be customer focused, deeply detail-

oriented, and able to effectively prioritize and multi-task.

Responsibilities include :

  • Identify, define and own the roadmap of projects for your category to ensure alignment with business goals and capabilities of Amazon.
  • Manage and execute projects intake and ensure that projects are hitting a high bar of customer experience and have enough resources internally and externally.
  • Analyze business drivers such as selection growth, traffic, pricing trends, and marketing and merchandising results and translate them into suggested actions and applicable projects.
  • Actively identify and resolve strategic and tactical issues that may impair the category s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
  • Act as an internal consultant for the category team, making sense of complex issues identified in the category business, breaking it down in tasks and following it up to resolution.
  • Great analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer and vendors needs and inventing new ways to meet those.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically and a broad commercial awareness developed in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data.
  • Ability to problem-solve using creative thinking and innovation.
  • Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
  • High degree of organization and ability to lead multiple, competing.
  • Utmost attention to detail and desire to roll up your sleeves.

  • Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Consistent track record in project or program management - work prioritization, planning, and delegation.
  • Experience in coordinating teams and communicating to senior management
  • High level of computer literacy, experienced knowledge of MS Excel and comfortable dealing with large datasets and complex systems.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) in English is mandatory.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Excel and systems
  • 5+ years of experience with a blend of technical, business and product, and / or program management roles
