Description

Work in order to ensure compliance regarding the local code of OccupationHygiene and Ergonomics (NR09, NR15, NR17,NHOs, etc.)

Work with the EHS Center of Excellence (CoE) to implementthe corporate requirements.

Fully engagement in capital projects related with EHS,keeping the focus in Occupation Hygiene, Ergonomics and ProcessSafety.

Regional support for Occupation Hygiene, starting with twoAnimal Health sites in Brazil (Cruzeiro / SP and Montes Claros / MG).

Responsibilities

  • Qualitative assessments in order to identify thehigh risks;
  • Hearing conservation program;
  • Respiratory protection program;
  • Asbestos monitoring;
  • Sampling plans;
  • Ensure corporate sampling techniques in order to dothe right at the first time; Data interpretation and conclusion;
  • Manage feasibility analysis for those cases thatinvestments may be needed;
  • Provide technical support in capital projects;
  • Evaluate the impact in process safety and ergonomicsduring the projects design;
  • Keep the business posted regarding the projectsschedule;
  • Manage PHAs (Hazop, What if, etc.);
  • Manage the annual plan for Occupation Hygiene andErgonomics;
  • Proceed risk assessments before implement a PPE;
  • Provide training regarding work practices, PPE, engineeringcontrols, etc.

    Experience

    Experienceinchemical,petrochemical orpharmaceuticalindustries (multinational companies).
