Job Purpose : Be responsible for Barilla’s product communication in Brazil, following the global guides and company business objectives

Key Accountabilities :

  • Products in charge : Durum Wheat, Red Sauces, Pestatos, Mulino Bianco
  • Develop monthly analysis of sales performance in volume, net sales, profitability (DM %), identifying improving opportunities.
  • Develop a yearly marketing plan for product portfolio under your responsibility, to align internal communication and be the guide for actions implementation.
  • Develop, Implement and Measure Product Campaigns (ATL and Digital), Events and Fairs, briefing external agencies / partners, defining KPIs and budget control.
  • Daily follow up on consumer behavior and comments at social media.
  • Provide a quick update on the website, every time new content is developed or a new campaign is implemented.
  • Provide payment process and control invoices payment, related to your suppliers, to provide the correct usage of a budget, preliminarily approved with marketing manager.
  • Check invoices payment and report that control to the marketing manager for a correct usage of the yearly budget.
  • Develop package design updates, following internal package design procedure, since the briefing to the agency to final approvals control, for local or external packages, in that case with communication of IT and / or US team.
  • Development of consumer research, in partnership with MRU US team, following internal procedures.
  • Monthly analyze and deliver Nielsen reports for Trade and Sales team and also for BLT KPIS’s meeting, identifying attention points for short term.
  • Support GYGP initiatives.
  • Develop a positive environment and relationship with other internal areas and external suppliers
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or publicity
  • 3 5 years of experience in consumer marketing preferred in big or international companies.
  • Experiences in events organizations and partners management
  • Spokesperson abilities for training, speeches, and interviews, for company representation
  • Financial skills (P&L, margins, taxes) contributes to a better business understanding, control, and reports
  • Easily deals with procedures, timings, KPIs, and controls.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and hands-on, understanding its autonomies levels
  • Well organized and with a sense of urgency.
  • Photography, design sense and digital skills
  • Ability to speak fluent English and Portuguese
  • Ability to build and maintain cross-functional working relationships
