Payoneer is looking for an outstanding professional that is able to start and grow our business in Brazil. You will set foundations to grow local business, develop first strategic partnerships, win key accounts as well as engage with existing VIP customers.

You will also be responsible for identifying market trends and opportunities, influence our product roadmap and of course, achieve and exceed targets in terms of numbers of customers, volume and revenues for each business solution.

Working in a dynamic business environment, we need a candidate that learns quickly and easily foresee or adapt to market and industry changes.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytic skills in order to create the growth strategy for Brazil and a great acumen of business achievements as proof of execution skills.

This role provides you with a unique opportunity to build an exciting business from scratch, an opportunity to leverage your business and leadership skills to eventually, take ownership of the entire country operation.

Our Business Development Director will be based in Sao Paulo and report directly to Latin America Regional Head.

What you’ll do :

  • Play an integral role in supporting Payoneer’s international expansion strategy.
  • Identify market opportunities, develop and implement Biz Dev plan for the country with a strong focus on developing distribution channels and partnerships.
  • Help building an eco-system to support SMB’s & Partners in Brazil and Latam region.
  • Also responsible for direct selling activities, including lead generation, on-boarding, and relationship management for Top Customers.
  • Achieve and exceed targets related with customer acquisition, total volume of payments and revenues for each of our services.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to define Product and Marketing roadmaps that meet local needs and help building brand awareness in the market.
  • Collaborate to build company brand and market awareness (with Marketing team support).
  • Represent Payoneer by managing and monitoring the brand activity within the country, and by representing the company in the local market at events, in the local media, on social networks, or any other relevant communication / promotional channel.
  • What we’re looking for :

  • BA in business administration, industrial engineer, economics, communication, or anything else that would make us say, hmmm that’s interesting .
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic account management and partnerships for Fintech, payments, foreign exchange, IT or Ecommerce companies.
  • Strategic thinking coupled with ability to drive business end-to-end and execute.
  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate needs and drive results.
  • Proven track record in meeting & exceeding targets.
  • Ability to lead and project-manage across multiple functional areas and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter who proactively seeks ways to improve and drive business to next level.
  • Fast learner passionate for payments and Fintech world.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, both in English and Portuguese.
  • Flexibility to travel domestic or international.
  • Not required but a plus :

  • Experience managing a business end to end achieving great results.
  • Experience working on Growth Hacking initiatives.
  • Intra / entrepreneurial experience in a startup / growth company
  • Oral and written communication in Spanish.
  • Master’s degree in business or MBA.
