What You Will Do

The Program Manager will report directly to the Program Director and will ultimately be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the Accelerator program.

The Program Manager will take the lead in overseeing all operational aspects of the program from managing the program schedule, liaising with program mentors and partners, designing processes, and implementing systems and tools to ensure proper program governance.

In this role, the Program Manager will work directly with the founder of the startups that have been accepted into the program to ensure that key program objectives are met.

He or she will also play an integral role in troubleshooting any potential issues that may arise related to the delivery of the program in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the accelerator program, and ensure proper governance at all stages
  • Main point of contact for all participating startups, acting as a bridge to both internal and external resources, mentors and other partners to the program
  • Contribute to the localization of existing Brinc content and curriculum for the Brazilian market, and play a supporting role in program design
  • Execute the program according to program delivery and operating guidelines provided by Brinc’s Headquarters in Hong Kong
  • Swiftly and effectively escalate or remedy any operational issues that may arise during the delivery of the program
  • Take a leading role in local ecosystem building and event planning to generate a healthy and consistent pipeline of startups for the accelerator program per cohort
  • Support startup deal sourcing, application review, due diligence and IC pre-program
  • Report the progress of the program at regular intervals to the Program Director
  • Secure and onboard partners to the program (corporations, technical specialists, investors, media, government, etc.)
  • Organize an investor demo day to showcase each startup cohort to Brinc’s regional and global network of investors

    Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or business operations
  • Customer service and sales experience is a plus
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and constant change
  • Must be bilingual in English and Portuguese, Spanish is a plus
  • Previous experience in working in an accelerator is a bonus
  • Good knowledge of program and project management methods
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • Proactive and able to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
  • Nice to have
  • Experience working within the startup ecosystem
  • Experience working with and executing investments
  • Experience working with the food tech ecosystem
