We are looking for a Brazil-based educational sales professional to help establish Canvas as the LMS of choice. The educational Sales Executive will focus specifically on selling Canvas into the Higher-Ed space in your assigned territory.

The role will require significant domestic and international travel (50-75%), as well as flexibility working with the US.

This position will report to the VP, LATAM Sales.

What you will be doing :

  • Build strong relationships utilizing value-based selling skills.
  • Use your extensive sales experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers.
  • Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
  • Provide value-added counsel to customers as a trusted advisor creating awareness and demand for Instructure products.
  • Manage all internal databases and account update tools.
  • Report out weekly to sales management on project, business and relationship status.
  • Here's what you will need to know / have :

  • 5+ years enterprise sales experience in SaaS or cloud based services and software, preferably in the education space.
  • A quantifiable track record of consistently meeting / exceeding quotas.
  • Experience working with large stakeholder groups guiding them through the decision making process.
  • Willing to learn and easily adaptable.
  • Organized and with excellent time management skills.
  • A self starter with a strong team oriented work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in selling into the public sector a plus.
  • Be motivated and have the desire to reach sales goals on a daily basis.
  • Positive attitude, creative problem-solver, upbeat and professional.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales / Marketing, or related field.
