New Business Opportunity

Promotes Sierra Wireless solutions and services through seminars, webinars, road-shows, portfolio and roadmap presentations etc to customers and distributors.

Closely co-operates with Account Managers with regards presales activity.

Anticipates new technical needs by close contact with customers.

Secures the involvement of the relevant HQ departments (Engineering, Quality, Marketing) in all application specific programs and projects.

Design In / Design Win / Production :

Provides first level of technical support and technical trainings to customers and distributors.

Report customer technical issues to Sierra Wireless Application Engineering and R&D teams.

For larger customers, implement Sierra Wireless project management methodology

Follows the delivery progress and fixes possible technical issues

Informs customers of Sierra Wireless’s products offering changes (order codes, HW or SW evolutions)

Market Analysis / Feedback Process :

Provides Sierra Wireless organization with all relevant information about the application(s) evolution at all major players in the segment / channel (component content, system requirements development, new products requirements, integration strategy, competition, etc.

Required Education, Experience & Competencies Required Profile

Ability to address different levels of customer organization (from development engineers up to R&D directors)

Autonomous and experienced person to support challenge and change.

Natural leadership, self-motivated and enough charismatic to manage by influence.

Team player

Native Portuguese speaking and very fluent English language. Spanish language is a plus.

Ready to travel on a regular basis in Brazil mainly but also LATAM (Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Mexico).

Knowledge about project.

Required Engineering skills

Experience required in 2G, 3G, 4G cellular modules, cellular connectivity, TCP-IP

Knowledgeable in GNSS / Bluetooth / Wifi

Education based on embedded electronics and software, in particular embedded Linux

Good understanding of a hardware and software development processes for an embedded devices

Good knowledge in C language and familiar with JSON, web APIs,

Experience in Yocto is a plus
