Who We Are

We’re the World’s largest tool company. We’re industry visionaries. This is a new initiative for Stanley Black & Decker as we embark on transforming the way in which we support all aspects of HR Services.

Specifically, we are designing and configuring the Employee Experience Portal & Case Management System, Service Now HR Service Desk (HRSD).

Along with HRSD, we will be implementing Workday as our new HCM system, migrating our data from legacy HRIS system of Peoplesoft, while building new globalized processes and experiences

Who You Are

You’re a curious problem solver who has the ability to bring big ideas to life. You’re creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease.

You’re agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always. You also have :

  • HR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in business or technology-related field.
  • 2-4 yrs. Experience with Service Now HR Service Desk
  • PeopleSoft, Workday or other HRIS experience in HRIS or IT
  • Experience with queries and BI tools
  • Strong problem solving, consultancy and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques, project management, and HRIS systems development methodologies.
  • Robust analytical skills; knowledge of configuration, testing and implementation techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Critical thinker with exceptional ability to model business processes and identify and resolve gaps.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • What You’ll Do

    As a HR Portal Administrator-Service Now, you’ll be part of our Global HRIS team, located remotely. Specifically, you’ll :

  • You will monitor the function and initiation of multiple HRSD processes within ServiceNow.
  • Coordinate with IT to uphold the ServiceNow platform for the enterprise
  • Build out workflow and assist in designing end to end processes for onboarding and beyond.
  • Have strong experience in HR technology with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HR processes and procedures.
  • Possess strong experience supporting the procedures and administration of ServiceNow and assimilating ServiceNow with other tools.
  • Have previous experience effectively applying the ServiceNow HRSD suite / module and processes using the HRSD framework.
  • Must also demonstrate experience performing perpetual enhancement initiatives.

  • Serve as primary point-of-contact for technical HRIS issues from Associates and Leaders
  • Partner with other team members to assist with the delivery of projects including configuration changes and functionality deployment
  • Provide ServiceNow HR configuration assistance, including screen tailoring, workflow administration, report and analytics setup
  • Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery applications including HR Case Management, HR Knowledge Management, Employee Document Management, Onboarding, HR Agent Workspace, Mobile application, and Workflow development
  • Evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness, identify areas for improvement; develop process improvement plans for each performance indicator or area identified
  • Analyze, define and document design for data, workflow, logical processes
  • Identifying business requirements including needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output
  • Coordinate integration of solutions with IT to existing applications; identify and resolve existing conflicts to ensures compatibility
  • Work with project teams to plan, coordinate and rollout software change / release, obtain required approvals as scheduled, and transition project to Production
  • Partner with other business units, IT and vendors to improve procedures, resolve problems, and implement initiatives
  • Implement new / enhanced products, services and / or operational changes
  • Manage access to ServiceNow portal and help design approach
  • Develop test plans, test criteria, scenarios and documentation; ensure acceptance of delivered solutions
  • Work with Release Manager and Quality Assurance Lead to apply and communicate changes to the system
  • Identify and define business solutions for HR functional domains within the HR portal system
  • Evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness, identify areas for improvement; develop process improvement plans for each performance indicator or area identified
  • Analyze, define and document design for data, workflow, logical processes
  • Identifying business requirements including needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using analytical techniques, tools, models, simulation
