How will you make an impact?
As the Commercial Director for the Genetic Sciences Division (GSD), you will be responsible for translating the division strategy in the region and coordinate the region needs to adjust the strategy in the LATAM markets.
You will drive the organization in new directions and challenge the status quo, developing the regional market and building relationship with key opinion leaders.
This will require the ability to navigate in different regions, cultures and functions and represent the region to the global divisional leadership.
What will you do?
You will be responsible for drawing up the short and long term strategy and operational plans for the portfolio in Latin America, developing the business for emerging technologies and / or market segments, monitoring market intelligence and evaluating market conditions and adjusting the sales strategy to successfully adapt to changes.
Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to :
Define and execute a Sales Strategy throughout the sales process and evaluate customer’s business data
Understands the Genetic Sciences Market : customer’s industry, business process, critical success factors, competitive standing
Lead a team of commercial and marketing professionals
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required preferably in sciences, businesses, economics or other related fields
Minimum of seven years of experience in product management, marketing, business development, or sales
Fluent in English and Portuguese language (conversational in Spanish is a benefit)
Leadership experience leading, developing, and building successful global strategic teams
Demonstrated success working in a global, matrixed environment
Strong customer / quality orientation with demonstrated ability to effectively build and manage customer and partner relationships
Proven track record of effectively driving and managing organizational changes from a business and cultural standpoint
Demonstrated business acumen with proven ability to understand, analyze and assimilate complex issues, draw correct conclusions, prioritize and formulate clear strategy and initiatives
Desired Qualifications :
MBA or related advanced degree, highly desirable
Exceptional communication skills whether it is to be able to articulate a complex strategy and to translate it into impactful presentations, or to communicate effectively with a global and diverse team
Skills required include listening, facilitation, conflict resolution, negotiation, and influence
