Job summary

Join a high growth, innovative team supporting the Amazon Books / Kindle stores. We are looking for an experienced marketer who will be responsible for owning the customer lifecycle strategy to drive new and repeat customer engagement.

You will be responsible for developing a channel mix and investment strategy for a range of existing and new performance marketing channels (paid and / or owned & operated) for our 50+ stores with more continuing to open nationally.

Channels include emails, push notifications, onsite marketing, paid media, promotions and more. This role is responsible for driving measurable foot traffic to our stores, including both new customer acquisition and engagement with a data-centric approach.

This individual has a proven ability to motivate teams and cross functional stakeholders with their vision and can both think creativity and innovate and possesses a drive for testing and learning.

In this role you will be responsible for developing the strategy, testing, measurement, and execution of key marketing channels for the Amazon Books / Kindle eBooks businesses.

You will work at the tactical level to champion new, innovative ideas, and at the tactical level to execute plans, and iterate based on performance metrics.

You will always look for opportunities to drive the optimal customer experience and internal efficiencies. This role will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas and establish best practices (inclusive of KPIs).

The Marketing Manager will have experience delivering in a high performance, high-growth digital marketing team, influencing a diverse set of stakeholders, using analysis to drive decisions, applying ideas to scale and familiarity with online and offline retail.

Key responsibilities include :

Own customer experience strategies throughout their journeys with Books and eBooks

Drive store traffic through optimization of digital campaigns through a range of channels.

Drive experimentation of targeting and customer segmentation for digital campaigns.

Own key strategic promotions, both targeted and storewide.

Own key strategic partnerships with both internal and external partners.

Own site and app strategy, execution, KPI optimization and analysis.

Own organic search, store listing management and optimization.

Job responsibilities

  • Take care of the Books (P+E) Customer entire Life-Cycle
  • Bring NTAs, re-engage PAs, support the P->E transition
  • Work with Product and Design to improve UX and entire Journey (from discovery to advocacy) satisfaction for customers
  • Ensure post-purchase engagement and first-purchase education for customers
  • Work with Product Managers to monitor lifecycle of each feature launched in pBooks and Kindle Stores
  • Work as a marketeer to implement campaigns, deals, coupons and other attributes to ensure Amazon is top-of mind and frequent choice for people willing to buy books

  • BS / BA required
  • Fluency in both English and Portuguese
  • Qualified candidates must have 5+ years of Product and / or Marketing CLC experience
  • Experience in Digital Marketing tools
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations
