SCOPE OF RESPONSABILITIES :
Maintain a strong follow up with Multimodal customers, looking to understand their drives, needs and requirements in order to ensure that our services are bringing value to the customer.
Identify opportunities not mapped to include our inland services;
Participate in establishment of the action plan to keep developing intermodal activities;
Be the focal point of problem solving whenever required by the customer representative;
Ensure that internal stakeholders have visibility about the regional market through the commercial tools of CMA CGM
Produce reports regularly on volume and profit evolution;
Produce reports regularly to be presented to the Intermodal Management Team about the projects under development;
Inland Operations Control
Delivery a high quality logistic service as required by CMA CGM and its customers.
Strong follow up of ongoing inland operations, through local supplier reports, to control inland operations in accordance with the booking list and give / take corrective actions when necessary;
Update and follow up the empty and full containers stock at the inland terminals and request empty repositioning for the Logistic department when necessary to ensure sustainable stock of empty containers and to avoid idle;
To be the connection agent between suppliers and customers to ensure that all process will be done within the deadline;
Avoid D&D cost by monitoring and ensuring that the operations will be performed on time. If problem occurs, the multimodal coordinator should inform internal and external customers;
Register the Transportation Orders in LARA system before performing the transport;
Analyze invoices that have divergence and solve issues identified through negotiation of adjustment with supplier;
Solve financial RFI’s in CIRA;
Keep database updated with operational information.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Degree : Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Foreign Trade and related areas
IT and System Requirements : Intermediary level of Microsoft Office but with strong ability to work with Excel. Within 90 days it will be expected to have an intermediate level on LARA, MIRA, DIVA and CRM
Language : Portuguese and English
Experience : Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Intermodal transport & activities / With stuffing or warehousing activities / Working with container business
