Team Description

The Americas Equity Structuring team includes experts across products, structuring and data analytics to help facilitate equity-based transactions and identify market opportunities.

The Americas Equity Structuring team is a responsible for growth and development of GS’ equity derivatives business in Americas, primarily focused on vanilla and exotic derivatives, volatility products, systematic trading strategies as well as originating and executing customized transactions in various structured products.

The team performs quantitative and other analysis, working with tools, models and financial markets data and collaborates with Sales, Trading, Technology and other areas of the firm, and with clients.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

You will work across various equity structuring teams giving you the opportunity to learn across products and identify cross-selling opportunities for the firm.

You will apply a variety of technical skills to analyze equity markets and client portfolios, work on product development as well as execute customized transactions in structured notes, certificates of deposits, warrants and other securitized structured products.

You will be engaging with internal as well as external clients in product education, solution-oriented selling, new initiatives and product development, and navigating the firm globally to increase market share and innovate new products.

Your immediate job duty will be to focus on growing our equity derivatives business and helping to build tools and presentations to this affect.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications

Strong quantitative skills in statistics (mathematics, statistics)

Interest in financial markets, products, and participants (especially equities)

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Programming experience (preferably in Python, C++)

Clear, critical thinking, concise writing skills, excellent communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast paced trading floor environment with varying priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical undergraduate degree, e.g. mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, financial engineering, statistics, etc.
