We are seeking a highly motivated team player for a vice president role within the Asset Management Division (AMD) Americas Client Business.

In this role, you will represent AMD in front on pension funds, asset managers, private banks and other financial institutions to win new business and retain existing assets.

Americas Client Business (ACB) markets GSAM’s investment products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries and advisors.

The focus is on building and maintaining long-term client relationships and communicating key themes from the firm’s leading investment professionals.

Americas Client Business provides investment solutions across all major asset classes (e.g., fixed income, equities and alternatives) and products including mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts and alternative investments.



  • Identify business opportunities to grow GSAM’s asset under supervision in Brazil
  • Coordinate meetings between potential / existing clients and GSAM product teams
  • Coordinate meetings with internal teams to make sure potential business opportunities are feasible and can be properly implemented
  • Assist in developing and updating the team’s business strategy in Brazil
  • Keep prospects and clients fully informed about GSAM’s investment views and products


  • 7-10 years of work experience at an asset management firm or other financial services organization
  • Good knowledge of the asset management business and capital markets
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal skills : Ability to build trust and confidence of clients, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate well with others internally to meet client needs
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese
