Tasks : Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple locationsPost journal entries for multiple locationsPossess an understanding of finance and accounting pertaining to sales, inventory, COGS and margin analysis.
Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly ensuring proper support for balancesReview, investigate, and resolve accounting errors, discrepancies, and reconciling itemsProvide financial direction / support to shop managers / core management teamAid in developing internal processes and best practices for overall financial reportingMaintain and improve processes and controls associated with location costs and inventory valuationReview monthly trial balance and provide variance explanationPrepare month-end financial notes and analysis to the shop managers and general managersReview monthly WIP calculation for accuracyUnderstanding of inventory concepts and controlsRepresent accounting on project teams designed to improve operations, reduce costs, eliminate error, etc.
