The Role Purpose

Responsible for the cash collection activities and management of a defined portfolio of customers.

The Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the cash collection, account reconciliation and relationship of a selection of customers, contacting customers, performing activities as directed by automated workflow, or applying own judgement and time management.
  • Reduction of the overdue amounts.
  • Responsible for resolution of unallocated cash & credit requiring account reconciliation and / or customer contact.
  • To work closely and provide support to our centralised functions in both Barcelona and India. i.e. Cash Apps or Dispute Team.
  • Attend monthly reviews and prepare business metrics for review with SSC line management and finance contacts in the relevant business unit to whom you are providing a service.
  • Comply with Service Levels (SLA's) & manage own performance to improve / stabilise KPI's.
  • Cover for peers.
  • Compliance with the current process design and specifications, process excellence and data quality principle.
  • What you will need to succeed

    Skills / Qualifications :

  • Fluent English and Dutch.
  • Credit and Collection or Finance experience preferred.
  • Interpersonal, written and verbal communication, persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of Oracle, SAP is an advantage.
  • Results focused.
  • Self-starter.
  • Good understanding of balance sheet and P&L is an advantage.
  • Good to have :

  • 3rd level University Degree or Diploma considered a plus but not essential.
  • Credit & Collections Experience.
