We are looking for a Oncology Medical Associate Director for Brazil to take leadership locally on Oncology strategy. This role reports to our Executive Medical Affairs Director, and will be accountable for ensuring that medical organization at Oncology TA strategy, guaranteeing the right capacity and capabilities as well as performance of the medical operational plans and evidence generation for Brazil.
This role will represent the area within regional franchise as well as appropriate commercial leadership teams.
As key responsibilities, YOU will :
Accountable for Oncology related Medical Affairs activities in Brazil;
Acts as the medical partner to the Commercial Organization;
Ensures the medical voice of the customer and market is deeply understood, synthesized into medical insights and clearly translated into appropriate actions to enable appropriate use of our medicines for patients;
Leads the development and execution of medical plans for all medicines within Oncology. YOU will be accountable medical plan development and strategic deployment of all medical resources to achieve joint objectives.
Training responsibility for Local Medical Managers and MSLs. Supporting recruitment and development as needed;
Oversee Phase IIIb / IV clinical development plans in Brazil by providing a consolidated perspective into long-term clinical and value evidence strategies.
Advocate for medical resources / data needed to support successful commercialization of products.
Lead the scientific and external engagement strategy for the Oncology Brazil;
Enable a performance driven culture with clear metrics and business improvement embedded into the organization and be accountable for metrics to measure and communicate activities to demonstrate the value and achievements.
Be recognized as a trusted partner with commercial providing medical guidance and input and aligning and supporting promotional engagement strategy.
Ensures Oncology Brazil medical uptake into multi-channel media.
Accountable for Medical input and scrutiny into Launch excellence processes, Launch improvement workshops and Brazil deep dives
For your to performed in this role, we expect you to :
Strong and recent medical affairs experience in the field of oncology / hematology, with product launch experience;
Strong and effective leader experience;
Local country experience commercializing new medicines
Solid knowledge of drug development, safety, regulatory / market access and reimbursement requirements;
Effective communicator, influencer, negotiator
Understanding and history of talent development
Proven ability to work in a matrix environment
Strong organizational, planning, and business acumen skills
Proven ability to interpret customer needs
Resilient, adaptable with the ability to work with new technology in the digital space
Proven ability to deliver effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and scientific audiences using original or innovative techniques or style
Fluent English is mandatory
This role preferred base is Rio de Janeiro, but flexibility to other states are being consider.
