The Dell Security & Resiliency organization manages the security risk across all aspects of Dell’s business. We are currently experiencing incredible growth in order to meet the security needs of the world’s largest technology company.

This role will provide support to the Regional Supply Chain Security Manager in several diverse areas of third-party risk management as well as execution of security strategy.

This role supports the Regional Supply Chain Security Manager in ensuring proper controls for security programs, budgetary adherence and communication with internal stakeholders and third-party providers.

Candidates will be responsible for maintaining project timelines, incident investigations and reporting, weekly / monthly metrics scorecards, maintaining i-Share database and vendor KPI’s.

Additionally, candidates will ensure the analysis of incident data, cargo monitoring action plans and communications with logistics service providers, as well as providing incident trend analysis of inbound & outbound product shipments.

Key Responsibilities

The chosen hire will be responsible for conducting independent investigations related to cargo theft occurring with third party logistics partners, identifying and addressing possible process gaps and improvements.

Candidates will drive for continuous improvement to security programs by pursuing innovative technology and operational solutions and applying cost efficiencies to achieve smart risk in the supply chain.

  • Capture and validate threat metrics relating to physical and cyber supply chain incidents providing data analytics and trend analysis
  • Work alongside vendors and internal Dell teams to capture and analyze compliance reporting about risk events, escalations and incidents
  • Work directly with external providers servicing Dell's end-to-end supply chain and monitor the provider’s compliance with any contractual security requirements from a physical and cyber security perspective
  • Manage supplier audit and assessment programs to validate security posture of internal and 3rd party factories, as well as transit lanes and warehouses where Dell product is regularly moved and / or stored in each region
  • Responsible for complex supply chain security investigations including cargo theft, counterfeiting / product tampering, data breaches and various types of product fraud and working directly with law enforcement, insurance adjusters and private investigators to facilitate optimal outcomes for Dell’s business
  • Responsible for incident reporting (loss and theft), able to generate executive summaries with risk mitigation strategies to impact the bottom line
  • Evaluate existing security standard operating procedures and recommend modifications to reduce risk in supply chain operations
  • Essential Requirements

  • English language fluency - both written and spoken;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Security, Supply Chain or related field;
  • Solid experience working in security, operations, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing of large international companies;
  • About 25% travel is expected in this role;
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communications (verbal & written) skills.
  • Desirable Requirements

  • Project Management experience is a plus;
  • Experience in Power BI, Tableau preferred.
