This position is an integral member of the Provivi legal team. The position will assist with NDAs, MTAS, and templates of sales agreements.
The position will maintain our contract management database to help drive legal team initiatives. The candidate must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the legal team to identify, present, and discuss challenges early.
Must be detail-oriented and attentive, with excellent organizational skills.
Interacts with the Legal team to manage prosecution, clearance, and contractual deadlines.
Works with the Legal team to assist in contract execution, management, and review of standard sales agreements, end-user license agreements, service descriptions, MTAs, NDAs, Field Trial Agreements, and other product-related agreements.
Monitors the status of contract review and execution, including supporting the contract approval and signature process.
Manages the Legal teamâ€™s contract management system.
Provides administrative and reporting support around executed agreements.
Helps drive Legal team initiatives, including the design of legal support processes, contract programs, and templates, and the use of technologies to increase efficiencies.
Assists in developing basic legal documents using templates; and organizes / maintain databases and legal files.
Assists with other projects and workflows as needed, including Legal team operations.
Interacts with all facets of the organization and contributing to Legal team projects.
Supports IP counsel in infringement / anti-counterfeiting matters, oppositions proceedings, including gathering evidence for all adversarial proceedings.
Interacts with business units on trademark prosecution and enforcement matters.
Participates in the department to discuss issues and propose solutions to enhance practice.
Assists the Mexican sales team with sales contracts and distributor contracts.
Assists the team with certain intellectual property filings.
Qualifications & Skills Include
Ability to read contracts in English and Spanish
Familiarity with all types of contracts and supply agreements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Word, Excel and contract management docketing systems
Experience handling confidential and sensitive material
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
Ability to work efficiently and effectively with a large volume of work
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Takes initiative in achieving results and measuring performance
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time with continually changing priorities
