As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Quality Engineer to be a key customer contact for all quality-related issues within operations.
You’ll work collaboratively with the Certified Floor Auditor Level IIIs and the Quality Layout Technicians as well as members of the Production and Customer Service teams to ensure that all quality standards are met.
You will formulate operating practices to address preventative action requirements in order to avoid nonconformance and ensure that end products meet and / or exceed customer specifications.
You will also lead continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing cell and analyze data to determine appropriate Root cause and corrective actions needed.
You will review and dispose non-conforming products and develop qualification protocols and control plans to meet all customer requirements, while minimizing scrap and eliminating customer returns.
We’ll expect you to verify all appropriate instructions are in place to meet customer, FDA and / or other outside agency requirements.
In addition, you will support CFA Level III and Quality Layout Technicians by creating and explaining procedures and quality standards.
About YouBS / BA degree in relevant field of study2+ years’ experience in quality engineering, or high school diploma / GED with a minimum 5+ years’ manufacturing experienceAbility to work with minimal supervisionPossess an attention for detail with a high degree of accuracyAdvanced computer experience / proficiencyAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blue prints, instructions, and SOPs Must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to multitask and problem solve Proficient in use of statistical tools with a strong understanding of Statistical Process Control methodology to the quality assurance processSix sigma experience green or black belt, preferredWhat You Can Expect from UsFamily-
