To implement visual management systems and targets for manufacturing and services to drive continuous improvement within the business.
To implement procedures and systems in all business areas to achieve Company objectives and assessment criteria.
To behave with integrity and respect for all stakeholders, including all colleagues, customers, suppliers and the environment.
To demonstrate due diligence to corporate governance standards.

To ensure that appropriate hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and annual management / control procedures are in place to achieve all the relevant HSE, Quality, Cost and delivery operating requirements.
To be responsible for leading the continuous review and development of these.
To develop and monitor clear KPI measures and targets for the performance of VS in relation to overall Company Goals and Objectives and to be responsible and accountable for setting clear objectives for Value Stream Leaders and other VS support staff to achieve those performance measures.
To operate in a manner which satisfies the requirement for confidentiality in the performance of duties, including all data that is handled and stored with due regard to confidentiality.
To ensure compliance within their remit for Group Policies on Ethical Standards, Employee Disclosure, Harassment and Bullying, Competition Law, Data Protection and Alcohol and Drugs (this list is not meant to be exhaustive).
To prepare operating budgets for the VS and ensure that regular review with the Finance Manager at VS level take place.
To control expenditure in line with planned budgetary parameters, identify variances and take appropriate corrective action.
Make forecasts for performance against budget and highlight risks of deviations over budget to the plant management team.
